A common question
Is the $200 a government eVisa transfer fee?
No. It is the service fee shown by Imminz. INZ says an eVisa transfer has no application fee; a physical visa label is different.
Prepare your application file
- Identify the task: transferring an existing visa to a new passport, correcting a record, or requesting your INZ file are different requests.
- Prepare old and new passport details, the current visa record and evidence of any legal name change. Tell us about booked travel.
- For a records request, identify whose information is needed, the relevant dates and the authority to request it.
A point worth checking early
A routine transfer updates the passport linked to your existing visa; it is not a general extension. If the original visa was shortened because of passport expiry, ask whether INZ approved a remaining balance that can be transferred.
